The Race Committee discussed the issues that surfaced over the starting for Saturday's Port to Lauriton event. Central to the discussion was the failure to communiate the intent and process around the starts.

The Race Committee has agreed that we will continue trying to make this format work which is intended to encourage yachts to arrive together in a pursuit style. The separate event for non-club members seemed also to confuse the situation which was intended to encourage members to the club.

The next Race Committee meeting after the regatta will work to address the communication gaps that lead to the situation and seek feedback prior to the next event on the 19th November.
